Hmmm...It appears as if Sen. McCain's pick for veep may be a creationist. This link, http://scienceblogs.com/afarensis/2006/10/27/intelligent_design_and_the_ala/, was received from Jason Grill (who we saw last night at the Obama watch party at O'Dowd's in Zona Rosa). Check it out, and please post your comments here. We'd like to hear what you have to say.

I wasn't planning on voting for McCain anyway, so I'm not really concerned about this. I am hoping that McCain will post answers soon to the ScienceDebate questions.

I was pleased over all with the answers Obama gave. One of the biggest issues to me is Nuclear Power, and how I hope we will start heavily investing in fusion research. If we had been able to match even a months price of the iraq war into fusion research, it would be great investment.

I disagree with her. I think that evolution is the only thing that should be taught in schools. Either evolution, or nothing. The fact that she said "I'm not going to pretend that I know how all this came to be." (or something like that) suggests that she is a straight up creationist. Still, I kind of feel sorry for her, after all the media craziness that she has had to deal with, like her pregnant teenage daughter. It's not good for McCain's Campaign.

I would have voted for mccain just because of that issue. That, abortion, and gay marrage.
